The Japanese comments are interesting and if your pc can display the script, then you can use a translation website to try to understand their comment. One goal of this blog is to stimulate exchange between my culture and that of my host country. I am a native English speaker living in Japan and studying Japanese. Though my speaking ability is very poor, I am learning a little every day, and reading and writing exchange via the internet is helping. So, I write my posting in English and usually translate some of it or summarize it in Japanese. When my family and friends comment, they often use English. Sometimes Japanese friends comment in Japanese. Sometimes Japanese friends who are learning English, comment in English. Sometimes English speakers who are learning Japanese comment in Japanese. My favorite is when someone who is learning the other language (or is already bilingual) comments using both languages. Then, everyone can enjoy their ideas, plus they get to practice. Remember. It is like a huge bathtub. Drip. Drip. Drip. Someday, speech will flow over the edge. I hope.
